    This mod makes the game so much more pleasant to look at without even changing the textures. It's easy to install, though trying to uninstall it has the potential to corrupt all your save data, if you don't back up your worlds. http://www.minecraftforum.net/viewtopic.php?t=55700

    If you have a computer that can handle it of course.
    Also, there are a lot of minecraft mod links you should check out toward the bottom as well.
